Dance Studio Client Agreement & Waiver of Liability Policy

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing any class, package, or service, clients agree to the following terms and conditions. This policy covers all classes, events, and activities held at the studio, including workshops, rehearsals, and performances.

  1. Waiver of Liability

Clients acknowledge that dance and physical activity involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries such as strains, sprains, fractures, or other bodily harm. By attending classes, clients voluntarily assume all risks related to their participation and agree not to hold Nobodys Watching Dance Studio DMCC its instructors, staff, or affiliates liable for any injury, illness, or loss sustained while on the premises or participating in any studio-related activity.

– Medical Clearance: Clients are encouraged to consult a physician before participating in any physical activity if they have concerns about their health or physical condition.

– Injury Protocol: In the event of injury, clients are responsible for any medical expenses incurred. The studio does not provide medical insurance for participants.

  1. Video Recording & Photography Release

Our studio regularly records classes, workshops, and events for promotional, training, or archival purposes. By attending classes or entering the studio premises, clients consent to being photographed or filmed.

– Participation: If a client does not wish to appear in any videos or photos, it is their responsibility to notify the instructor or videographer in advance and avoid the filming area.

– Accidental Appearance: Should a client accidentally appear in any videos or photos, [Your Dance Studio Name] retains the right to use such media for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.

– Media Ownership: The studio retains all ownership rights to photos and videos recorded on studio premises, and reserves the right to use them for marketing, social media, and other promotional activities.

  1. Opt-Out Procedure for Media

Clients who do not wish to participate in any filming or photography must:

– Notify the studio in writing prior to the class or event.

– Ensure they are aware of filming schedules and take necessary steps to avoid being captured on camera.

– Responsibility: If a client fails to follow these procedures and appears in any media, they waive the right to contest the use of such material.

  1. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nobodys Watching Dance Studio DMCC, its employees, and agents from any claims arising out of their participation in studio activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or any legal action related to media use.

  1. Non-Refundable Policy

Refunds are exclusively processed if the studio cancels a class. Individual cancellations by participants are not eligible for refunds. Refunds from the studio’s end are issued within 7 working days, with extended time (up to 30 working days) due to third-party involvement.

7. Cancellation and Reservation Policy
– Participants are obligated to cancel reserved classes at least 24 hours in advance.
– Participants who fail to cancel a reserved class within the 24 hour threshold are not entitled to a refund.
– Late cancellations or no-shows will incur charges equivalent to the full class price.
– If group classes fail to meet the minimum participant requirement 6 hours prior, the studio reserves the right to cancel the class, offering a credit or refund
– The studio retains the authority to reject bookings based on class capacity.
– Emergency class cancellations require immediate notification to the receptionist.
– You have the flexibility to cancel or transfer classes as many times as you wish within a month, with the privilege of doing so at no cost for the first two instances. Any cancellations or transfers must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled class. However, should you exceed two transfers in a month, a fee of 35 AED will be applied for each subsequent occurrence.
– If you possess a one-month valid package and the studio cancels the class you intended to attend, the studio is required to extend your package either by the duration of the canceled class or by one day for each canceled class

8. Package Activation, Extension, and Freeze Policy
– All packages are valid for 1 month except for long term packages of 2 or 3 months which are available seasonally.
These include but are not limited to single group classes, rent per hour, rent packages and individual classes).
– Freeze or extension, for up to two weeks, is available for individuals leaving the country (vacation, sick leave, or emergencies) with prior notification to the reception.
– Discounted prices and special offers are non-refundable or eligible for freezing.
– Purchased packages must be activated no later than 2 weeks from the date of purchase.

9. Class Arrival and Information Guidelines
– Participants are expected to arrive 5-10 minutes before class (not earlier than 30 minutes).
– Latecomers may not join, and payment will not be refunded.
– Classes are conducted in English; Russian-speaking teachers are available upon request.
– Group class duration is 55 minutes; individual class duration is 50 minutes.
– Classes may exceed 55 minutes upon an agreement with the studio.

10. Studio Rental Guidelines
– Music volume should not exceed 30% anytime before 6pm.
– Studio rentals require advance booking and 100% prepayment.
– Cancellations within 24 hours result in non-refundable fees.
– You may extend or freeze your rent package (refer to point 4 Refund Policy)

11. Attire and Footwear Guidelines
– Participants must adhere to designated dance attire and footwear specified for each style of class.
– Street shoes are strictly prohibited.
– High Heels classes require heels and knee pads, or participants may choose to dance in socks.

12. Health and Safety Guidelines
– Participants should communicate any medical conditions or injuries to the instructor.
– Individuals are responsible for monitoring their physical fitness for the chosen class.
– Individuals with prior health conditions or injuries should consult a health care professional prior to participating in any dance class.
– By purchasing and attending any class or studio you accept sole responsibility for any injury you may incur.

13. Studio Etiquette
– Maintain a demeanor of respect at all times.
– Disruptive or disrespectful conduct is not tolerated at anytime and may result in removal from the venue.
– No food or drinks (except water) are allowed in the dance studios.

14. Class Changes and Cancellations
– The studio reserves the right to modify the class schedule or cancel classes with advance notification.
– If you possess a one-month valid package and the studio cancels the class you intended to attend, the studio is required to extend your package either by the duration of the canceled class or by one day for each canceled class (refer to point 3 Cancellation and Reservation Policy)

15. Studio Property
– Participants and or instructors are held accountable for any damage to studio property.
– Participants are accountable for their personal belongings.
16. Photography and Videography
– Prior approval from the instructor and fellow participants is required for the capture of photographs or videos during class.

17. Code of Conduct
– Adhere strictly to the studio’s code of conduct to promote a positive and inclusive environment.

18. Special Dance Courses Guidelines
– Prepayment is mandatory to secure a spot.
– A 50%deposit is required prior to the course commencement. The remaining 50% must be paid on the day the course begins.
– Payments for special courses are non-refundable however, they can be utilized as credit in the studio if participants choose not to attend the course.
– Availability is limited.
– A first class trial option is available.
– Missed classes or shooting days are non-refundable.

19. Ticket and package Usage Policy
– Tickets, including ticket packages, are exclusively for the use of the purchaser.
– Tickets and packages cannot be split or shared among multiple individuals.
– Each ticket is valid for single-person use only.
– A first-class trial option is available.

  1. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration, to avoid unnecessary court litigation.
